Never read a newspaper by Candle Light

Over the years I’ve had some incredibly bad ideas. All of these ideas have resulted in an adventure.

One evening I was sitting at the kitchen table reading the newspaper by candle light. I had to be very close to the flame  because the power was out.  Anyway, as I read through the stocks, the middle if the paper ignited and a huge flame flashed upward toward my eye brows. I immediately realized why people never read by candle light!!

I sprang into action, put on my wonder woman boots, & put the fire out…in the dish water left in the sink. LOL!!!
