Calling all Adventurers

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

I have something new and exciting to share with you. Over the last week or so, I found a new website called shoestringseeker.com and fell in love ❤ with it. It’s a completely brand new website that’s just getting started and you can join in on the ground floor level.

It’s completely free to join, use, and share. It’s a place where adventurers, thrill-seekers, sightseers and so much more can share their experiences and wisdom about places that they have knowledge about. The format of this new website is very easy to use and very simplistic. You can create a profile either by using your email or by connecting Facebook to make things easier. There are travel Adventures on this site from all around the world.

I highly encourage all of my adventure-seeking friends (and friends who just simply travel) to log on, create an account, and share your personal wisdom with the world. The format is very easy to use on a desktop or mobile.

I think this website would be a wonderful thing for people who wish they could travel but can’t as well. It allows you to experience other’s adventures from the comfort of your own home or mobile device.

Personally I’m just getting started adding my wisdom posts. You can find my profile here:  https://shoestringseeker.com/profile/62

I know that there are thousands of you who are my friends and/or followers that have a lot of wisdom to share about your travels. I highly encourage you to log on, create a profile and share your wisdom. Here’s the standard link: http://www.shoestringseeker.com

I hope to see you there!

Love,

Chrissy

The Road Thief

image

I wept in my sorrow and you said “Shh, it’s okay”

I ran from life, hiked up mountains, and crossed every river to escape, but-

You swept me off my feet and made me feel young.

You held my hand, comforted me, crushed my sadness and made me smile.

You showed me there was only living.

We laughed and we smiled. Together, we agreed to be one.

Grow old together, share life and love. I accepted.

With your best intentions, you could not avoid the call.

The road called to you and you dutifully answered.

It  took you hundreds of miles away.

Restless nights, tossing and turning, I wake alone.

How do I love you from a distance?

How do I feel you when you are so far away?

Will I be aged when we see each other again?

Will you be the same?

If I have accepted this fate, will I adapt?

Will I stay here, wait forever and hope you remember your way back home?

How does our story end?

Only time will tell if the road wins with its spell.
