Why wait until things get bad to call on our Lord?

It’s just a thought that has crossed my mind a lot lately. Everyday is a blessing when we wake up. Why wait until a tragedy occurs to start being thankful?

Our nature as God created us is selfish, self-centered & one of self-preservation. We overcome our fleshly nature through Christ. We lean on him for understanding & hope in his Grace. By Faith, we are made whole & corrected. Without him we have nothing, we are nothing. What purpose is there without him? None.

Some people (myself included) need constant reminders.
