Of course, as I have gained more “life experience” (otherwise known as age), I have come to appreciate contentment as much as happiness. True joy and contentment do not depend so much upon what is happening in my life, but rather on an inner sense that God is working things out as they should be in His own way. Hard to beat that, in my book! 🙂
