Mean People

All people have good days, we have bad days, and every day in life is different. One of our greatest challenges is to remain calm, neutral, and peaceful when faced with adversity thrown at us by Mean People.

What makes a person mean?

Someone who delights in others demise.

Someone who is not happy with themself or their current situation, so they seek to make others miserable.

Someone who feels as though everyone should be like them, because THEY are the only one right.

It’s that person who cut you off as you pulled up to the pump to fill up your gas tank.

The lady that just squeezed and bruised every orange in the produce aisle, then walked away smiling, with no plans to buy any.

A mean person can even be a jealous friend or loved one that feels they live in your shadow.

Generally speaking, all people are not mean by nature. How they perceive the world has treated them, has jaded their reality. Therefore, they treat the world as they feel they have been treated: rude, abusive, intolerant, bossy, dishonestly, blaming others, making excuses, and shirking responsibility, or selfishly inconciderate.

These people many times are not aware of how mean or hurtful their words or actions are received.

Don’t be a mean person in life.

Life is too short to spend time
wandering aimlessly in the dark.
Realize how your actions impact others before you find yourself laying on your death bed, wishing you were surrounded by people who love you, instead of people that are paid to see you off to another world.

  1. I like this post… very apt and true. I also want to say thanks for “liking” my post on healing. My blog is still fairly new and I’m not very computer literate. It’s taken me weeks to get it to the stage it’s at. I’m saying thanks because you are one of the first people to “like” one of my posts. Have a great day wherever in the world you may be. Richard.
