Outlook on life

So, since I was a very young child, I knew I was very different from the other kids. I would fidget, squirm, and wiggle in my seat all through school. I never had to do my homework or pay attention to the teacher; yet I passed every class with great grades & no effort. Life was too easy it seemed. I was the prized child for my parents and they constantly reminded my slower older brother of that fact. I had & still have ADHD.  I decided that I would do the minimum to fit in with the other kids. I taught myself behavior modifications and figured out ways to stay on task.

I was adopted & didn’t know my biological family until I was much older. I had many ticks that I just couldn’t figure out or stop. This really bugged me. So one day, after one of my Aunts asked me about a noise I had been making in my throat, I decided I’d better Love myself and ensure everyday was an adventure (because I’d never be able to beat the ticks that are in me)!!

Thus begins the Adventures of Me. Some of these posts may seem made up or just too crazy to be true, but I promise, all of these adventures have occurred!!
